Serif Boxes in Pink and Rust or Green and Black
Part of the Serif Collection
Following the ancient art of inlay, this jewelry box is decorated in a delicate inlay pattern. Each piece of inlay is skillfully carved & affixed into wood to make the intricate vine motif. Each piece is one of a kind.
This box is entirely made by hand and is exquisitely handcrafted by skilled artisans in Sambhal. The process starts with building a wooden base for the box. Chips of inlaid material are carefully cut into delicate shapes by several artisans. These chips are then carved into various intricate patterns, all by hand.
The box is finally finished and polished to bring out the detailed textures and beauty of the inlay work. It takes one artisan 4-5 days to complete a single box.
Due to their handcrafted nature, no two pieces will be identical and minor variations from the images will occur.
